My father in law passed away this morning. He had gone into the hospital two weeks ago with pneumonia (Which we didn't find out until Friday) and from those complications they found he had extensive cancer.
He passed away 3:15 this morning.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. My mother in law has decided not to do a funeral or a memorial but rather a party celebrating my father in law's life and all of the wonderful things about him. We are hoping we can make it up there the weekend of the 7&8th, but are not sure just yet.

Jessie-
My prayers are with you. I can relate to what you are going through, as my dad has been battling Mesothelioma (lung cancer from asbestos) since April and we found out basically the same way. There really are no words to comfort you right now, except he is at Peace now and is not suffering at all. He is safe and warm in the arms of angels, smiling and looking down on you.

Jessie, what a shock that must of been for all of you.Going in for one thing and finding out he was full of cancer. I hope your husband gets a hold of his Mom. So sorry this has happened to your family.

When I read what time he passed, it was the same time that my Dad passed away several years ago.

Thank you girls. We are still trying to get a hold of my mother in law, as we have not heard from her yet. We found out from my sister in law. Hubby is doing okay, but he is anxious to talk to his mom.
