Posted - May 30 2010 : 7:16:40 PM A beloved family member was diagnosed with pancriatic cancer two weeks ago, and suddenly passed away this week. It seems it was with in a blink of an eye the lives of an intire family has been changed. I guess I am in shock over how quickly this has happened.

Posted - May 31 2010 : 07:28:18 AM Robin, I am also sorry for your loss. The same thing happened to my 49 yr.old cousin a few years ago. He was able to get his affairs in order and with help finished saying and doing things that meant the most to him. It is sad, you and his family are in my prayers.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |

Posted - May 31 2010 : 06:23:19 AM It does happen way too fast. We had a friend that was diagnosed with liver cancer and died about a month later. Same with another friend. Gone in a few weeks. It's so sad. And I miss them both so much. No warning at all either.
Robin, I will be saying a prayer for that family.

Posted - May 31 2010 : 04:52:16 AM I am very, very sorry for your loss. Cancer is awful, and it has no discrimination. I need both hands to count the family members in my family who have also lost this battle. All were at my home until the end, not wanting to be anywhere else. I know it is not comforting now, but two weeks was actually a blessing. It is very hard on those left behind, but for the loved one it really is a blessing. My prayers are with your family. Jane

Posted - May 31 2010 : 04:39:11 AM Robin, so sorry about your loss. My prayers are with you all. Pancreatic cancer is a deadly one, very fast. I had two aunts and a friend die of it and all died under three months of time after learning they had it. I will be thinking of you and yours. |

Posted - May 30 2010 : 7:26:38 PM I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. What a shock! Every moment is important! Remember to be sure to say "I love you" to those you care about every day. Never part company in anger, it can be your last memory of each other. All loss of loved ones is painful whether lingering illness or sudden shock.
