Posted - Apr 12 2010 : 7:24:31 PM Hi farmgirls. I am passing along a prayer request for Waynette, a fellow farmgirl here in the forum. Her son and my son are penpals, and she and I have become friends. I just talked to Waynette's daughter who told me that Waynette had a heart attack last Wednesday morning (April 7th) and underwent surgery to place two stints in her heart. She came home this morning (Monday, April 12th) and is recovering "nicely" at home. Her daughter said it was ok if I posted in her to let you all know so you could send up prayers and positive thoughts for her healing.
Also, prayers for Zeke, her kindergartner son, who is taking this pretty tough. All he knows is "mom is sick". So extra prayers and good thoughts for him as well!
Just talked to Waynette who said:
I am doing sooooo much better. I thank you and all the girls at MJF for all the well wishes and prayers. My Dr. says I should recover fine and live a long life. I need to drop about 10 but other than that.... This disease runs in my family. Hopefully God will continue to bless me to be around a while longer. Zeke is doing okay, he is a little clingy, but thats okay, making mom feel lots better with all that love. I have been outside today, it is beautiful here, watched Dwight and the girls work in the garden. Hopefully, I will be out there next week. Just gotta get back some strength and life will go on as usual. Thanks again for the kind words and the prayers.
So that's what I know, and I'm passing it on to you!!
