I would like to ask everyone who knows the power of prayer to please pray for all the families who have a loved one not yet found in the mining accident in WV, and also for all the families who have lost a loved one in the accident. According to the news, the last count at this time is 25 men whom have lost their lives. And 4 not yet found.

I cannot imagine what these families must be going through. Please pray that there will be at least a few survivors, and that the peace of the Lord will overshadow all of those who have been touched by this tragedy.

Hugs,

Judy

I just heard they found the remaining 4 and they also did not survive. Prayers for these families and this community. I cannot imagine their pain. Linda

Deborah,

I don't know any of the familes, but WV is a neighboring state to me. There has been so much tragedy lately, such as the mining accident and the accident in our state of KY a few weeks ago when an 18 wheeler hit a van load of Mennonites going to a wedding in Iowa. It is so sad that so many of them died as they were on their way to such a joyous occasion. Reports say that one dear man who died in the mining accident was only 5 weeks away from retirement. So sad and so tragic. Please continue to pray for everyone mentioned here.
