I am on my way down to my daughters to stay with the grandkids. My daughter had to take my son in law to the emergency room last night, because of chest pain. They think he has an infection around his heart. It may have been caused by pleurisy.
Can you all pray for him please, he is supposed to be taking finals in his online schooling right now, I hate to see him miss too much.
Thank you!

Thank you girls so much for the prayers! I got home late last night, SIl is now home from the hospital but has to go to the cardiologist tomorrow. He has pericarditis which is an infection of the pericardium around the heart and causes fluid build up. He also has a cyst on his heart which they are not sure about.
The weird things is, my son in law has a really long, story in our family. He was born in Ireland, and raised in Wales, and adopted when he was 4, so there is no medical history before then. So many things have happened to him just in the 9 years since I've known him...someday I will have to tell you all his story.
Anyway, that is not the weird thing. The weird thing is that 9 years ago he came to the US for the first time with our daughter to meet her family and to propose to her here. While he was here, our entire family, me, dh, our kids, my parents, my brother and his whole family went to Niagara Falls for a long weekend. Had a great time. We all went home and my mom and dad left from there to go back to South Carolina. The next morning my dad called really early to tell me that my mom was in a hospital in Pennsylvania. She had had severe chest pains the night before, so they called an ambulance. Turned out- she had pericarditis. I had never heard of it before then, have never heard of anyone since then having it. She was fine after a few days.
She got it from my niece who was staying in their hotel room with them and who had been sick. My sil Sean we believe got it from my grand daughter who stayed at their house last week, and has possible pneumonia. It is a viral infection but can cause severe problems. He should be fine, but will be watched for the next couple of weeks.
Again, thank you all so much for the prayers, it is always so wonderful to know my farmgirl friends are praying! :)
