Would you please pray for me. We moved to Texas in July. My friends and family are 1300 miles away. Hubby's work is unstable and I am doing work from home a few mornings a month. I am feeling homesick and a bit down.

Thank you

Thanks for all the prayers. Just hit one of those lonely, homesick days. With all this wonderful sunny weather, I won't have time to be lonely and homesick.

Hi Amy,

I'm so sorry, it is really hard to be in a new place, away from family. Will be sending prayers your way~

Sent your package of stitching patterns off yesterday, something small to look forward to. Let me know what you like to work on, and I'll keep digging through my patterns.

Thinking of you~

Prayers are on the way. It's hard to be far from people you love, hard to have a husband with an unstable job. Working from home can help financially but still leaves you feeling isolated. Have you found a church or other place to meet people? Making new friends can be hard at first but can sure help with the loneliness.

Amy:
Hope you are feeling much better. I will indeed keep you in my prayers. I will pray the Lord gives you strength in new friends.
Take care.

Hi Amy,

You have my prayers. I have been in your shoes. I moved way up north from Texas. I always try to think of the saying "Bloom where you are planted." Also, what always helps me is the fact that in this day and age, we can call on the phone and the computers. I talk to my family several times a week. But, I know it can be scary in a new place, hang in there.

Hugs and warm wishes...I understand. I'm often homesick for Seattle and my family over there. Smile and know that you have Farmgirls with big hearts sending good wishes and prayers.
