Friday I went outside to get wood for the stove, and saw I needed to retarp the bikes. I stepped on the piece of wood I use to hold the tarp and bit the dust. I put my hand out to catch myself and ended up dislocating my right elbow, as well as fracturing my arm. Yes, of course, I am right handed.
I go to see the orthopedic Dr. tomorrow to see what he says. I will probably be in a cast for 6 weeks.
I was hoping to launch my new business in the next six weeks, but I guess instead I get to fine tune it. please pray for my sanity.
For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Today i think i hurt more than i have since the fall. i am assuming it is because of x-rays yesterday and having the move it it different directions. I had my cry this morning as it is just so frustating not to be able to do simple things, taken for gr4anted on a regular basis, flossing my teeth, putting my bra on...
I konw this is only for a time, and it could have been worse. my friend;s little girl fell in their barn a few weeks ago and broke both her arms. i got off easy.

thanks girls for the prayers. do keep them coming as i found out today that i have to have surgery on my arm. the radial head is beyond repair and has to be replaced. the sugery will be this monday. thanks bunches!

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your arm!!! That is just awful Julia! Praying you heal quickly and maintain your sanity.
