A very dear friend of mine, Laura, has been battling Leukemia for a long time now. She has been in Seattle for the last month or so with the intention of going through with a stem cell transplant. But this week, after a round of chemo, she was hit very hard with an infection that threatens to kill her...the doctors have done all they can, and it's now totally up to God..
Things were looking positive with treatment for the cancer, but this complication is a terrible turn...
So please...if you pray...please say a few for her tonight. She really needs a miracle. She has a 15 year old daughter....... I can't imagine loosing a mother like that... this family needs our prayers!!!

Thank you all SOOO much for keeping Laura in your prayers!!! I haven't heard an official update as far as her medical status goes yet, but I do know she's still alive and kicking, and she's got a pretty positive attitude, which is half the battle. Hopefully I'll be able to report soon that she's whooped the infection and is on her way to recovery... :)
