Posted - Dec 19 2009 : 6:02:50 PM that my SIL's brother is in a Taiwan hospital and has been unconscious for nearly a week after he hit his head in a fall. My SIL's mother left the States this morning to be with him. That's all I know at this point. Please pray for Joe and for his family and, most of all, for a Christmas miracle. Thank you and God bless. Cindy |

Posted - Dec 20 2009 : 4:29:32 PM Prayers are with you. Such an injury would be scary if it happened near home, but to be on the other side of the world when it happens adds more worry and stress. You can't be close enough to be there with a hug and an encouraging word, or to keep an eye on how things are going. My prayers are for healing, and comfort and peace for your SIL and her husband and for those of you at home waiting and praying.

Posted - Dec 20 2009 : 4:17:47 PM Thank you all so much for your prayers. I haven't heard anything yet--just that there was recently an earthquake in Taiwan. I can't imagine how stressed Joe's mother must be, being in a foreign country and all this stuff going on. she's a strong woman and an experienced traveler but I worry about her too. Please keep those prayers coming... cindy |
