Update 12/15: A has gone through a series of skin grafts to date. They are bringing in a plastic surgeon today for her neck and parts of her upper chest; the parts that show. They hope to bring her slowly out of her coma on Wednesday. She's wrapped toe to chin. So far, she's a toughy and hanging in there. I spoke with her dad yesterday, who also seemed strong as a rock for his little girl. Wednesday will be difficult as they bring her back to consciousness so keep those postive thoughts/prayers coming! She's a fighter! Thank you so much!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I just found out that my neighbor's lovely little girl has been terribly burned over 40% of her body. She's a tiny little thing, about 6 years old and very full of life and energy. I don't know the details but it had something to do with a candle and her synthetic dress. As you know, burns of this kind are devastating both physically and emotionally and... life threatening.

Please my dear farmgirl sisters...spend a few moments talking to your universe tonight and send healing thoughts her way. For her life and healing; and for her parents who are trying their best to cope with this tragedy.

Thank you. StarMeadow

Can you E-mail me with an address, Maybe sending a card will cheer her up a little. Or is that a bad idea because of the germs. I will keep praying I feel so sorry for her.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

That is so sad and burns are very painful, my prayers go to her and her family. I wouldn't want to be her mommy.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Thank you so much ladies. No news today yet...considering the seriousness of these injuries....I think no news is good. I sent word through the hospital social worker that many voices were lifting their thoughts and kind words for her recovery.

I sure will. My granddaughter Kansas is 6 years old. I can't even imagine her going through something like this.
