Posted - Dec 09 2009 : 11:43:16 AM I know I haven't been around here in awhile, but I have been dealing with my dad's failing health, my uncle's death, and now it also looks as though I need to make some hard decisions regarding my marriage.
My husband is bipolar, and although I understand this is an illness like cancer, etc, I just can't take the verbal and emotional abuse any longer, the threats, nor deal with the countless women he's gotten involved with both online and in person. We are currently separated (2 weeks now), and I finally realized that now that he's gone I no longer feel like I'm walking on eggshells, I have some peace, and for the first time in a long time am able to sleep through the night.
I need prayers for a job so that I can find a safe and peaceful place to live and start my life over.

Posted - Dec 10 2009 : 08:21:48 AM Diana, I pray for peace for you and the right job for you, too. I have to deal with my DD who is bipolar. Not the same thing as a husband, but the same disease. I never know what she's going to be like from one day to the next.

Posted - Dec 09 2009 : 4:58:17 PM My husband is bi-polar as well and it was difficut until he started on meds and I can honestly say it has made a world of difference. We've been married 30 years and he was unmedicated for 16 of those years and it was tough, but we made it and I'm glad we did. Kathy |
