I just recieved news that my grandmother who is in the nursing home has taken a turn for the worst this morning. Her BP has dropped, she has slowed breathing and she in non-responsive. She is 91 and has been in the nursing home for a little over a yr. She has been so tired and ready to go home to the Lord. Please pray that if it is her time she will go peacefully. That we as the family will be strengthened as it is always hard to lose a loved one. Thanks and Blessings, Karen

Update:
The nursing home( hospice) is saying she is in her final hours. Please continue to lift our family up in prayers.
Final Update:
Thank each and everyone of you for your prayers I felt each one. I stayed at the nursing home all day and around 6:30pm I told my mom that it would not be but a few min. At 6:40pm my precious grandmother went to see our Lord and Savior! She went so calm her breathing slowed then stopped. It is so sad to see her go but I have been strong thanks to each of your prayers and more importantly God answering each one! I cant thank each of you enough for you care, comfort, prayers and hugs(yes CJ it made it to Ga).
Her visitation will be Friday and the funeral Sat, both in Al. Please continue to keep us in prayers as the next few dys will be rough ones. Blessings to you all and again thank you! Karen

God bless your Grandmother and those of you who are left behind. It sounds to me like she will make a peaceful crossing over. She sounds like she was a joy to have in your life. You are blessed to have her in your life.

I wish you "peace", along with your G/ma, and I hope and pray that she will be home soon.

Karen,
It is so hard to lose a loved one, especially those who are so dear like Grandma's are. They are the most wonderful blessings to have. It is tough, I just lost my grandma on Easter Sunday. Keep the good memories with you now and we'll all pray for her and your entire family. You are in my thoughts.

Warm Wishes

Thank you all so much for the prayers and sweet comforting comments. My grandmothers name is Margaret she has 2 DD and 7grandkids and 9 great grands with one on the way. She has always been very independent until last March when she had a stroke ever since then she has gone down hill. She has always walked a Christian walk and has been such a blessings and inspiration to her family and friends. She loved to write letters and send cards to everyone and anyone. But best of all she was herself which made her My most wonderful Grandmother! Her and my grandfather lived on Lake Harding in Valley Al for yrs which is where I spent most of my summers. I could takl about her for hours but I will hush. Thanks so much for asking about her Shirley Jean. Blessings,Karen

My prayers to you and your family. My dad just passed over on Sept. 4th and for two days prior he kept saying it is so beautiful, it's just so beautiful. He was also alert & responsive to all questions. Even helped my son with a refridgerator question the day before. It helped knowing he was going to a place far better than we have here.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Thank you so much Jess, I know she is so ready to go and has been since her first stroke. This flesh of mine wants to hold her here but my mind and heart knows that she would be whole again, yes in the arms of Jesus! Blessings,Karen

Karen,
I am praying for your grandmother and the rest of you. I know that it is never an easy thing to let someone you love go, but what a wonderful comfort to know that when her time does come to leave you that she will be resting safe in the arms of Jesus.
This may not be her time yet. Only God knows.
Big hugs and prayers!
