I heard from Wendy's husband this evening Nov.1st he said that the surgery went well. Wendy hasn't been able to eat or keep anything down for a couple of days and is feeling a little weak yet, she remains in the hospital where they have her on clotting meds , they are trying to get home health care in so that she will be able to recuperate at home, but they'd need to make sure that she receives the clotting agent on time, so right now the hospital is keeping her there to keep a close eye on her. He told me to tell you all thanks for your concern and prayers and a "hello" to everyone. Many of you here know a very special and talented farmgirl by the name of "Sunshine" or Wendy Harbaugh.

Wendy is going to be facing a very serious medical procedure on Oct.30th. What would be a typical operation for most folks is 100 times scarier and more dangerous for someone that has a blood disorder. So she needs our prayers in earnest on that day that all goes well and that the procedure is not as scary as her dr's have told her it might be.
So please join me in lifting our friend up on that day.

Also as many of us know that have had the joy of visiting Sunshine's blog or seeing her work..she enjoys creating items to decorate her home for her kids and getting them involved in the different Holidays..with all that she is facing right now and having just had to pack up and move to a new home and downsize ..and currently having everything in boxes due to moving..well the usual festivities that she does for her little girls have been put on hold...so that's where you gals can help me out!
I'd like to ask you all to help me to brighten 3 little girls lives as well as Sunshine's by showering them with cards for Halloween, and Christmas..and a few little goodies that they can have fun crafting and creating with..little things like stickers, or things like that.
It would mean so much to them all right now as they face this big challenge.
So..can you all help me out? I'd greatly appreciate it and I know Sunshine would too.
Email me for the mailing address please.
Thanks so much!

I want to thank those who have sent stuff to my girls and cards to me. I was supposed to originally be in the hospital for only 1 1/2 days now it looks like it might be as few as 4 and as many as 7 it just keeps getting worse. My mil is also in the hospital having her cancer worked on so the family is split where to go. My husband and oldest daughters will be in California for an award my daughter won till Sunday so I have the the first few days on my own at the hospital to say I am scared is an understatement. I have a bleeding disorder similar to hemophilia ( I have VWD Von Willenbrands disease) and it is complicating things something fearsome. To the point where the doctor has stated if I start to bleed out he may not be able to stop it ( ie death). So if you have a little prayer for my mil, me and our family we would appreciate it. So will check in later today at LDS in Salt Lake and she at her hospital today too. Wish we had been at the same hospital so the family wouldn't be so divided my children are not allowed to see me while in the hospital so not only do I miss Halloween my favorite holiday I miss my kids and I might miss my 7 year old turning 8 as this may end up encompassing her birthday a big thing if your Mormon it is the year little ones get to be baptized and I have to miss her big birthday. Like I said thanks again and take care.

have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

I'm emailing you for her address. I had it, but I'm not sure if it's up to date. What are the girls ages now and do you know what they're especially interested in?
