Posted - Oct 01 2009 : 10:38:08 PM While I am not sure that what I have is the "swine flu"... AS I wrote in my blog post for next week... at one point in the fever, I thought for sure pigs were flying around the living room.. which may have been how the SWINE got into the name of this thing.. LOL
Oh I know it is a very serious thing. I can also tell you that I have never been more greatful for the Old quilts I have been picking up at second hand stores as I have been wrapped up in them and dragging my sorry behind around the house. Well not really around the house.. more like from one sofa to another......
I am looking forward to a full weekend on the sofa.

Posted - Oct 02 2009 : 7:34:28 PM Although we have not had this in our house YET (knock on wood) our battle has been sinus and ear infections. As said above....LOTS and LOTS of fluid!! Hope you feel better soon. I think these sicknesses is some way to get us to take time and rest. I don't think we rest and relax as much as we should. This is the only way to get us down. I sure wish someone would find another way!!! LOL
