Please say a few prayers for a friend and coworker.

Her name is Anna

She got a call this a.m. saying her husband was found dead. He was a victim of head trauma about a year ago due to a drinking prank, wound up smacking his head on the floor and having to have a piece of his skull replaced.

Andy was in the Army and was more recently allowed to go back but would never be placed in a combad situation again.

Everything had been cleared, so this was very sudden. They were married just shy of a year.

Anna will be flying back to NY for the funeral.

She had to go to the morgue to I D the body and an autopsy will have to done. I can't even imagine.

Please pray vfor peace and strength.

Thanks ladies!

Hubby and I visited Anna and her family last night.

They all leave today for New York (is where Andy was from), to Michigan, and finally to DC.

The burial may a take 2 or more weeks. The waiting list thing is true. Since Andy was active military he got first dibs though.

Sad to know this cemetary is a busy place. At least 5-6 funerals a day.

So Anna said she'll be taking a month off from work. Good for her.

And I guess she has mounds of paperwork still to go through with the Army. That's enough to make anyone numb.

On a slightly humerous side, she showed us all of Andy's video games and gaming stuff. She hasn't a clue how to make it work....Where's a little 12 year old when you need one!

WOW! I will be praying for your friend, Anna. What a sad and scary thing to go through. Especially being as she is so newly married.
Praying for comfort for her heart and peace in her mind.
hugs

Found out yesterday Anna's hubby will be buried in Arlington Cemetary there in DC. I'm assuming it's this weekend.

That will be a very nice ceremony, but for sure tear jerker when they hand the flag to Anna.

Oh gosh Anna, how awful.

I am keeping Anna in my prayers. That explains the feelings I had this morning.
