My friends own a horse ranch in Idaho and are taking 3 of their prized horses to the Egyptian Event in Kentucky this year for showing. This is a big deal and very expensive so it has not been taken on lightly. Each of the horses has been in training for months.

My friends left on Monday with the two yearling fillies that are to be shown. One of the drivers had a slight accident with the trailer and that night it looked like one of the fillies was colicing. It turns out that she has a raging case of pnemonia and is being treated for it intensively.

Then today, one of the owners was having problems with his leg. He has been making a recover from being run over by a tractor last year and we have all been worried that his bone was collapsing.

Please send any positive thoughts that the rest of the trip to Kentucky is BORING and uneventful! Please also pray that the filly recovers fully- in time or not for the show but in time for the show would be nice.

Thanks all!

Thanks Kristin!

I am so very tired. I need to get some laundry done and am going to try to lay down for a while. I don't HAVE to do anything until after lunch. I think I am going to bring the baby puppies in and cuddle them before putting them to bed too.

I'll be lifting them up in prayer, too, Alee. And for you also. Lots of work to be done on a farm. Sometimes all I want to do is take a nice long shower and crawl into bed. It feels so good.

Thanks everyone! I am running on fumes. First foal watch for a few days and then today I had to get up at 2am to get Bryony and Jael up to Spokane for their airplane trip. Now I need to go feed the horses, cows, and goats. Oh- did I mention I milked 6 goats, filtered and jared the milk, then had to feed the puppies and clean their pen? Yup. Nap time after throwing some hay. Prayers for energy would be nice too!
