I saw him last Sunday morning and since that day have not seen him anymore. He is just gone :( I have and will be looking around my area to see if I can find him and will also hang a flyer on the tree.

I miss him a lot and just ask for a few prayers on my behalf, that I might find him one way or the other.

Crying while I type this, he is my first ever pet and the best :(

Also still nothing about Elvis. It ALL comes at the same time, when it rains it pours.

Marian,

I hope Elvis comes home soon! We have friends that moved out of state with their cats (indoor). One day Sam escaped. Two weeks later he came back. Amazing how their sense of direction is. Hang in there sweetie!

Oh Marian, I hope you find Elvis. I know how much they are family. They know when you are sad, happy, angry. They know how to make you happy. It's the ability animals have. I hope he comes running home.

Kristi, I did ask around the neighborhood, no one saw him :( And there are quite a few cats around here, but no body is feeding them outside :) They all come inside to eat, well trained cats. Just as Elvis is....
Still hoping......

You know, you might want to check around with neighbors. If he is a real sweetie and showed up at someone's door, they may have taken him in. Or they are feeding him outside and he decided just to stay for a bit! I sure hope he comes home soon!

No still nothing. I have decided for my own peace of mind NOT to worry too much today. It is a glorious sunny day, he is enjoying himself and I just hope and pray he will re-appear soon.

(I have a cat named Elvis too...)

My indoor kitty (who was a tiny kitten who just showed up at our door last year) looks strangely like our outdoor male and the female kitty doen the street! :)

We had a dog show up on our property during a storm, she stayed the weeked (it stayed stormy) then went home on Monday! (And she ended up living the other side of town!)

Hugs & wishes!

As soon as I saw the topic of Elvis I knew it was about your cat. Oh no! I hope he comes home soon, didn't you just move? Maybe he is checking out the neighborhood. . .
We lost a cat once for 9 months and he returned!

Oh no! I hope he comes back soon. I think you are right about the collar, we don't have one on our cat either. But we did have him microchipped instead. It was actually cheaper than most of his shots (here in the states at least). He's strictly an indoor kitty, and I can't imagine how we would feel if he ever disappeared. But if Elvis is used to being outdoors sometimes, I'm sure he'll come home when he's ready.

Awwww Dutchy, I sure hope Elvis returns home soon. If you see lots of kittens around who look like him in a few months, you'll know what he's been up to! I had a cat once who was gone over 1 1/2 years...one day he just strolled up to the house like he had only been gone a few minutes!

Oh I am indeed guessing he is running aroun and doing his stuff. But it is just that he is my first pet ever in my whole life, so that is why I worry i guess. And I just LURV him to pieces and he knows it, lol.

We have lots of feral cats around here and when they are "looking for love" they hang around our porch where Mr. Fuzzy, our big male cat lives (He was a stray we had fixed and I am afraid he used to be many of the females companion!) Then after a few days they just disappear! So I bet he is just catting around looking for a pretty girl kitty! I keep him in my thoughts though.... my little one used to run off an worry me.... until she realized the woods doesn't have kitty treats! :)

Hugs!

Oh no! I must agree with a previous poster who said they like to worry their owners needlessly. I have 3 and from time to time, they disappear (they have the timing of the screen door closing down pat!) and I'm frantic for days.

I am hoping that Elvis returns pronto! Thinking of you, Marian!

Dutchy, I hope Elvis comes back home soon. I will be sending prayers up, too. I know God cares about the little critters and hears prayers for them.

No color, no chip, dumb I know. But the chipping is expensive :( And I am afraid to put a collar on him in case it might get caught on a branch or fence. My SIL had her cat collared and it got caught on a branch almost choking him! She was just in time. Same almost happened to my friends cat, so hence my decision.

But i am just hoping he is "taking care of offspring" and comes home exhausted :)

They will go out and run around a lot until they are fixed, especially the boys. Do you have him micro-chipped and a collar/tags? Please let me know what happens.

No he is not fixed yet, so guess he is out gallivanting. Been thinking that myself too, and SO hope that is the case.

Thanks anyways and will keep y'all updated on my silly kitty :)

Oh Dutchy, I'm so sorry to hear this news of Elvis. Is he "fixed"? If not, it is spring, so maybe he's out "catting around". If that's the case, he will be home when he's done and not before. (you can't rush romance ) If he isn't, then maybe a neighbor is feeding him. Do you have a humane society or animal rescue that people turn in animals they find? Check with them and leave your name/ph#. Does he wear a collar with his address on it?

I'm sorry and will pray for you and Elvis,
Cindy
