Posted - Feb 28 2009 : 07:05:28 AM Well we haven't heard back from the owners of the place that has the horse pasture, however we did get accepted to move to the house in Laurel! So we will be packing up and moving out to a better place! I am so excited! It might not be exactly what I wanted but it is a better neighborhood and a much better property! It even comes with some play equipment for Nora and the landlord is going to fence the yard for us!
Hi Everyone!
We really need to move away from where we live. The area is scary and we have a scary neighbor who has scary friends. Our feeling of safety has deteriorated in the past month or so.
SOOO I went and did a search and what did I find?
A CHEAPER rental that is 10 miles out of town with room for a garden AND a dishwasher, Well water and a septic system. They allow pets AND have 2.5 acres fenced FOR A HORSE!
I could bring my horse up from Idaho!! The only problem is that they don't want dogs to be inside dogs. This would be a problem because Sky has always been an inside dog. I am sure she would love being outside and maybe she would slowly not want to be inside, but I doubt it. So during the day I think it would be fine for her to be outside, but I can't move to a place where my dog can't ever come in. :(
So first of all I need prayers/good thoughts that the landlord likes us and wants us to move in.
Second of all I need the land lord to be okay with Sky coming inside at least during the evenings!

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 7:35:16 PM Thanks! I also went and looked at another place today that is perfect in a different way. No wonderful horse pasture in the backyard, but it has a workshop for Doug that he could turn into a money making "clubhouse". If that panned out I could use my half of the profits to pay for board for Tala. So either one would be great! I just hope we can get into one or the other!!
