Please put your farmgirl prayer power together for several people that I was forced to lay off today. I have prayed and prayed for another answer and I just wasn't able to come up with one that would make it okay with the company. When I was put into management, I never thought I would have to do what I did today. Please join me in praying for these folks and their families.

Sherone, I am sorry that you had to let those people go. It makes me realize even more what a kind and caring person you are.
I certainly will pray for the people, I hope they will be able to find another job.

Sherone, I'm sorry you had to do that. I know it must have been hard on you. I'll keep you and those people in my prayers. I hope that they find something soon.

Hugs!

When I was let go because of budget cuts, I think the doctor I worked for felt just as bad as I did. I could tell by his face he just hated having to do it, but being the boss means making tough decisions and after a while I realized the position he was in. Just tough luck all around.

You arent' alone out there although you rarely hear the bosses feelings on the subject. Your post shows that you are a caring person. It is just something you have to do as a manager.

Take care Sherone.
