Got an e-mail from my dad yesterday.

He called the nursing home where my uncle Bruce is.

He is now receiving 2 visite from hospice, 2 visits from another nurse and a visit once a week from a chaplin. Bruce was also taken off about 8 medications. Geeshhh that's enough to make anyone go off their feed and get crabby.

So Bruce's demeanor has changed, he is actually smilng, and best of all, he is eating again! The weight loss issue is still a concern, so he'll continue to be monitored.

Most of the issies can perhaps be linked to depression.

Dad and his other brother (who lives in Lousiana) will both visit Bruce in 2 weeks.

Thanks for prayers for my dad, and especially for Bruce.

Anna, glad to hear things are going a bit better for him. You all are still in my prayers.

Hugs!

Glad to hear things are a bit better for your Uncle. I' sure that makes the whole family breathe a little easier. Best of luck to all of you during this difficult time.
