Posted - Feb 08 2009 : 08:30:58 AM My dear friend Wendy lost her husband and her 11 year old son last night. Alan and Baily were heading to a Bucks basketball game and a drunk driver crossed the yellow line and hit them. They both died at the scene of the accident. Wendy has 3 other small children- 2 boys and 1 little girl. Please keep my friends in your prayers- we will be traveling a rough road ahead. Thank you for your prayers for my friends God Bless you- Lori

Posted - Feb 17 2009 : 09:01:28 AM please continue to keep Wendy and her children in your prayers. The funeral for her husband and 11 year old son was last Thursday. Wednesday night I was in line for 3 hours before seeing the family. The young man has been in jail for having a breatherlizer of .23 and being under the influence of other drugs. Wendy was in court yesterday for the preliminary hearing. Please keep her and her children in your prayers- there is such a long hard road ahead. Thank you and God Bless Lori

Posted - Feb 10 2009 : 4:59:59 PM My heart is grieving for them all. When will this type of tragedy come to an end. I just don't get it. If one drinks why then drive? Please don't let this happen to another family. It's not a true accident as this tragedy could have been prevented by the other driver. Here in my community it seems all too common to drink and then drive. They are always reporting some type of tragedy related to this problem.
I too will keep the family and the community in my prayers.
