Saturday my 77 year old dad fell and badly broke his upper arm and may need surgery. While they were going over his injuries, they chance found a white spot on his heart. He is having a ct scan today to determine what it is. If any of you would please keep my dad, Byron, in your thoughts and prayers, I would be very grateful.

Thank you all for being here and being my support and sisters through good times and bad.

Still waiting for news on the PET scan to see if the mass in his lung is cancerous....really worried, trying to be positive. Thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I'll post more on my dad when I know more.

Thank all of you for the prayers.
Today the CT scan found the "spot" to be a mass in his lung, not on his heart as they originally thought and they are now going to look at the mass with a PET scan and see if it is active (as I understood the doctor, I am going to go look up pet scan now...duh!) They are still suspecting cancer, but we are all holding our breath and praying and hoping for the best. I will post more when I know more. This is hard waiting for answers. Thank you ladies for the prayers and kind thoughts

Please Lord, hold Byron in your loving hands and heal his fractured arm and erase the white spot on his heart. Ease his pain and give him strength to get through these injuries quickly. Bless him, and give Annika peace of mind while you lay your healing hands upon Byron. This we ask in your name. Amen.

Thank you Lainey. My dad is in Seattle and I am here and can't easily go to see him, so it is hard to know that he is in pain and not be there to lend a hand or comfort him. The white spot on his heart is a mystery still and we are praying and hoping that it is not cancerous. Holding our breath and waiting for tests to come back in. I will know more later this week I hope.

Annika, your father will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything goes well with his ct scan and that his arm mends quickly.
