Posted - Jan 29 2009 : 7:52:00 PM Last week mom had surgery , at the time the Drs said they were sure 99% it was cancer, We found out yesterday it is Breast Cancer, She goes in next week for more surgery, either a complete removal or Lapo, She will have have to have 30 radium treatments or if it has spread to the lymph nodes it will be chemo. My momma will be married 65 years in March, and will be 79 in April. She has done much of the stitching you see on the Mj pillows. Some of you probably own some of her stitches. Please think of her in your prayers

Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 10:06:18 PM Dear Lord please bless Miss Wilma and her mama and guide the doctor's hands to heal her mama's cancer. Give her strength to handle the side effects of chemo and bless her with renewed joy in your love and the sweetness of life all around her. Let her make goals for her "after cancer" life and live each day in happiness. This we ask in your name. Amen.

Posted - Feb 03 2009 : 06:31:56 AM Miss Wilma I just saw this post. I am so sorry to hear this. It is a rough one to deal with but I had a friend of mine go through it and come out with flying colors I am sure your momma will too!! If she is tougher than you are, like you say then there is no worry at all right You are the strongest woman I have ever met!! If I could be half the person you are then I have indeed accomplished much!!! I Love you my friend. Laura
