Posted - Jan 25 2009 : 10:19:37 PM I got a call from Cody tonight ( I had asked for prayer for him last week)- he was so happy - he said he couldn't believe it but, all of the sudden, things just started coming together for him. Two people who owed him money ($600 total) both called him today and said they had checks for him for paint jobs he had done. He took it over to pay the deposit on the apartment he wants to move into and the landlord told him he could paint and his girlfriend could clean in lieu of one months rent, and he took his taxes in yesterday and he's getting a refund! All in one weekend! Praise for the power of farmgirl prayer! thank you ladies!

Posted - Jan 28 2009 : 12:45:38 AM Sherri, I'm so happy for Cody, it's wonderful news. It is so hard to wait for God's timing, but it just teaches us to rely on Him more.
I've said a prayer for your dr. appt for your ear also.
God Bless, Cindy

Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 09:41:43 AM I know - sometimes it's hard for me to wait for the Lord to work, but it always works out when I'm patient!! And, Kris, my ear is still blocked. I have an appointment on Feb. 2 with my REAL doctor finally! It's kind of weird, though, how I have adapted and gotten used to the decreased hearing - I hardly notice it anymore.

Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 09:09:55 AM What great news! God is good! He always knows the right timing, too. Sometimes at the last minute so we'll know it's from Him. And the landlord is being very nice to do that. That'll help alot. Maybe he could even work for the landlord, too, and paint the empty apartments for free rent.
How are your ears, Sherri?
