I am asking for pryers for my teenage daughter Katie. We are going through some VERY challenging times right now. She has gone to live with her dad. And I am having a hard time with that and trying to communicate with her. I would really appreciate any and all prayers-Thank you!

My second child left home when she was 16 because she felt likr everyone was against her. Well, after not speaking for almost a year - we finally started to communicate. By the time she was 18 she was home again. I spent alot of nights crying and worrying, but I feel as if it was something we both needed to go through in order tofor her to realize that I wasn't the enemy. We have a great relationship now. She's 21 and Mommy to my beautiful grand daughter.

Things will work out. Have faith and give it time.

Lori, this must be so hard on you. Maybe a break from each other will bring things into a better perspective for both of you. Most Moms and daughters go through a rough time at some point. I am sure in the end this will work itself out.

Lori - I'm thinking about you - I have dealt with some similar issues with my step-kids, very difficult. I hope everything works out for you and her

Lori, I just saw this and wanted to tell you I will be praying, too. I went through both my daughters rough teen years. All I can say is this too shall pass. Both mine are grown and doing great now, thank the Lord! So there is hope!

Hugs, Kris

Lori-I will keep you and Katie in my prayers. Just know that God will touch her heart and protect her. I know it's hard, but in situations like this we need to let go and let God.

Lori,
Will keep you all in prayers! I know it must be hard, but God is in control and take it from a stubborn daughter. She will come around...like Jeannie said daughters always need their Mom's.
hugs and prayer

Life should NOT be a jounrey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. "WOOHOO, what a ride!"

Lori - praying for you with a mother's heart. Someday, this will be over, and she will come to you with her children and need you. A daughter always needs her mother, though she may not realize it at certain ages.
