Posted - Dec 18 2008 : 6:17:15 PM Ladies, My husband & I are leaving tomorrow Morning for our Holiday triptouching base at several family members as we go. We will be traveling normally a 3 hour trip but with the SNOW and Wintery pass conditions it will take us probably 4 hours. Once we arrive we will spend the night and go on for another 4 hour drive over another Snowy pass. The closer we get to that family in( Portland, OR) the roads to turn to rain & icey conditions. After spending the night there we travel 5 more hours over another pass into Seattle, in Washington State Where my sister just called to say it is Snowing and they have 8 inches of new snow right now.. Expecting more snow over the weekend and COLD temperatures. So I ask for all my farmgirl sisters to send a tiny prayer up for our safe journey and return. We will be returning home on Dec 27th. We are taking our laptop ( I couldn't be without internet connection) and hopefully as a safety measure as well.. May you all have A Safe, Warm, Loving Christmasfrom our house to yours. Thank you all...

Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work You don't give up.
