Please pray for my cousins wife who also is a young farm mommy. She has two girls and is three months pregnant with #3 and this past Friday when she woke up, she could not remember her husbands name. By Saturday she could not speak at all and it was discovered she has a brain tumor.
They will not terminate the life of their child leaving decisions very, very hard and complicated. Please pray for wisdom for them and the doctors.

Oh Misty! I am so sorry to hear this.

Don't give up hope yet! I have a childhood friend who was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was under 10. The doctors didn't give her many years to live, however she graduated high school and has attended college. I have lost touch with her, but as current as last year she was doing a radio show so I know she has outlived her life expectancy by over 10 years!

Hi Sue...and all, (Savage's is a great little pharmacy)
I actually just got home from visiting my cousin and their family and I am just brokenhearted. She is so confused and really can't process her thought well at all. She knows that she has a brain tumor but beyond that she can't explain much. Her husband and mother were very informative saying that they will be doing more specific tests next week..including a biopsy. It seems they have been warned that if this is a specific type of cancer she will have 6 years to live at best. It's just so terribly sad to see them just broken over this news yet trying so hard to be optimistic not only for her but for their baby. Continue to pray.
Our thanks again to all of you.

Keeping our spirits high....

Oh my Gosh. Misty, this is heartbreaking news. I will pray for her and her entire family. Prayers that some way be found to help her. My father in law had a brain tumor lasered while he was awake. Scarey sounding to endure, but he is still with us.
Hugs to you and all who love this young Mom,

P.S. I've been to your town many times. Our dear friend owns Savage Family Pharmacy.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes expressed. Unfortunately I don't have much to report yet. It looks as if they will not perform surgery unless they terminate the pregnancy...which I know is not even an option. As of yesterday she still could not recognize or identify her husband or daughters.
I hope to see her hubby today and hopefully get a more accurate update on the situation.
Again we thank you for your prayers. They are much needed.

How terrible for this young woman and her family. My old neighbor had the same thing happen to her. Her brain tumor was discovered during her second trimester. She had a beautiful baby girl, her second child. The baby went home with daddy and Grandma while my neighbor had brain surgery and the tumor was removed. They had to put a plate in her head too. She was in the hospital for a few months, but finally came home to a very happy & grateful family. That was 14 years ago & she is still doing fine! I hope your cousins wife will have a happy & healthy outcome too.

Holy God, I pray for the life of this young mother, wife, woman and the little one still growing inside her. You are holy and loving and I know that you are with her and her family always! Please put your healing hands on her and be with the doctors as they are working on her care. Give both the doctors and her husband wisdom in making decisions in the coming days. Hold them all in your loving hands and give them peace during this horribly stressful and emotional time. Put other people in their lives who can come along side them to lift them up and give them encouragement.
As you wish!

What a terrible thing to happen. I'm so very sorry for them and the family. I pray that they will find peace in this situation and the wisdom to do what is right. Are they going to perform surgery? I'm sorry to be such a busy body but this really grabs my heartstrings.

Wishing blessings and miracles to them
