*My dad had the biospy while he was awake so that he could get the results sooner (it was VERY painful). Well, I guess they didn't get enough tissue and needed to do another biopsy. He had that yesterday while asleep and should get the results soon. But, the worst news is that his throat has so much scar tissue from the last surgery and radiation that they don't think they can do surgery through the mouth, and will have to do it through the neck again. He had this same typs of surgery two years ago and it was horrible. WIll need a feeding bag, trach, and all that. I am praying that they can find another way but my dad is upset and depressed about this news - we thought before that it would be a simple little surgery and now it seems it will be a very, very invasive surgery. Please pray that he can get some good news and be comforted in this time of uncertainty.

My dad went through a horrible ordeal of oral cancer two years ago. Everything from a terrible surgery, chemo, radition and some lingering effects of choking while eating, etc. Now at his check up today they think they found that it has come back further in his throat. They are doing a biopsy. PLEASE pray for him. His youngest child is just five years old and I know that he can beat it again but pray that he has comfort and that it is in such an early stage that they can get it all out.

I'm prayer Elizabeth. I am hoping that they can get it gone this time if it is cancer. But I'm praying and wishing healing and strength to your dad.

I wish the biopsy would come back with no cancer found, but with the way it sounded they are almost 100% positive it is cancer, just trying to see if it is the old cancer or a new cancer. It is best if it is a new type of cancer, because if it is the old type that he had it means it is a very aggressive type that survived all that treatment. Please continue sending prayers his way, I know they help! Thanks!
