Posted - Aug 06 2008 : 06:37:35 AM I see that my daughter Kelly has showed some concern, and I'm glad she looked to to you ladies for prayers. I didn't end up staying in the hospital because my symptoms were serious side effects of the Neupogen injections. Most people get some of the side effects but I got the big whammy. No need to stay in hospital because the symptoms have to go away on their own. Yesterday was chemo day and I really didn't want to go because couldn't stand up without assistance. Hubby talked me into it because he wanted to get a one on one with the doctor about what was going on. So ladies, I need prayers to storm heaven so I can start feeling like I'm living and not just existing. Thank you. Linda (a-rose)

Posted - Aug 09 2008 : 02:35:18 AM Hugs Linda, get fighting the fight, yes will keep continue praying. Thank you for letting us know what is going on. You rest when you can, eat what sounds good, liquids and jello it that is what it takes for now. My mom did lots of crackers and 7-up for her chemo. For everyone it has to be what works for them. Wishing you a good laugh, to lighten a moment or two for you. Hugs, Carol Sue

Posted - Aug 07 2008 : 10:07:32 AM THOUGH I AM NEW TO THE CLUB, I HAVE THIS TO SHARE. PRAYER IS SOMETIMES ALL THERE IS LEFT. MEDICATION, DOCTORS, REPORTS, ECT... ALL ARE WELL AND GOOD, BUT SOMETIMES I THINK WHEN WE ARE FACED WITH WHAT ABSOLUTELY SEEMS UNBAREABLE, IT IS GOD'S TRUE TEST OF OUR FAITH IN HIM. RELY ON HIM, FIND COMFORT IN HIM, AND KNOW HIS WORD SAYS " HE WILL GIVE YOU NO MORE THAN YOU CAN BARE". HOWEVER I FELT IN MY LIFETIME, OFTEN LIKE A PACK MULE, THE VICTORY HAS BEEN BOUGHT & PAID FOR IN FULL, BY HIM. MY THOUGHTS & MANY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, TIL YOU REACH VICTORY. |
