One of our locals here needs all the prayers he can get. He's our beloved hotel owner and THE cable company. He's had cancer next to his left eye and has been fighting it for some time. His vision has suffered terribly from all the treatments and his finances are in the toilet. Now, his doctor has told him the cancer is coming back and that he'll have to undergo more nasty stuff. The hotel has not been doing well this winter (fairly normal in winter) and he has not been able to pay his bills this winter and now he's being faced with more medical bills.

Unfortunately, lots of folks don't pay their cable bills on time, if at all. Don won't shut them off if they have kids because he feels that if he does, he's making the kids pay for their parents boo-boos. So, his cable business is not paying much of anything either.

Don is such a good, big-hearted man and what he's been going through is heart breaking. I've been sending prayers up for him in the hopes something good would happen for him and that he doesn't lose his businesses. But I think more voices are needed...

Hi Lisa,
Sending prayers up for Don. He sounds like such a kind hearted man who can use all of our good wishes.
