Hi Jen -
How old is your daughter? Is it a specific fear, or general nerviousness/anxiety?
It sounds like you are already on the right track, taking her fears seriously and talking to her about them. Are there any spiritual advisers at your church or in the community, or a trusted older relative who could also help allay her fears or give her some ways to look at the feared things from another perspective, when they might turn out not to be quite so scary?

Having suffered with fear as a child, I will certainly bend my knees and ask for a special protection from Heavenly Father for your girl.

Jen - I will be praying for your daughter and for you. Just cling to the Lord and He will see you through this. My 14 year old daughter suffers from anxiety and is afraid of new situations. For so long I kept telling her to just "do it" and she'd get over it. I've discovered that she can't and I feel so badly. I pray for her daily but also am getting counseling for her to help with the anxiety.
