Hi, Ladies. Tomorrow, March 12 I have a PET Scan and a MRI to see what is going on inside. Hopefully, the Pet Scan will show "NO cancer" anywhere in my body, and the MRI will reveal the tumor is gone or so shrunken as to be not worth removing. I also see the Medical Oncologist and have bloodwork done.

Thursday, March 13 I go into Sloan in NYC for preadmission testing. Tuesday, March 18 I go under to have the stent removed. If the dye flows through the tube well, then I will NOT need another stent.

Friday, March 21 I see the Gyn Oncologist to get the results from the Pet Scan and MRI. I am praying they are good, and there will be no need for surgery or anything other than testing every three months.

I had bloodwork done almost two weeks ago. My numbers are better and close to normal now. I am feeling so much improved, probably the best I have felt in a year since the pain all started. If nothing else, Sloan has helped me so much. When you are pain free, your mood is great, and a good attitude improves the immune system. I went off all pain medicine and related anti-nausea medicines on Sunday. I only have a bit of soreness if you press the muscle where the area of the tumor was/is. The muscle was misshapen and deformed from the tumor. So, maybe this is just a recovering muscle more than anything else.

So, if you can, please pray for me. I get a bit anxious doing those tests in large tubes. Plus, waiting over a week for results can be a bit unnerving.

Thank you, ladies, for all the prayers and support. You have been so wonderful to me. I feel your love stretch out to encompass me. I can't tell you how importnat this has been to getting through with treatment and moving forward in a positive way.
