Not for me, but an online friend.

Nearly a year ago she had a hysterectomy, and something went wrong. She had pain, they gave her a catheter, she had more pain...it's been ongoing and finally another surgery to relieve the pressure (they hope.)

In the meantime, shortly after the hysterectomy when she was really, really struggling, her husband filed for a divorce. He's refused to move out of the house, however, but remains there harassing her on a daily basis. He's messing with the money and hiding his income as well in an effort to prevent her from getting what she deserves.

She's never really communicated if she's a Christian, but has made disparaging remarks about her sister being a religious nut. She's been thankful when I've offered to pray, though, and has begun to comment on my blog even when the topic has a spiritual message.

Tonight she asked in an email for me to pray for her. She's feeling very low. She's got an appt with her husband and both attorneys coming up; hopefully they can get the husband out of the house so she can at least get a little bit of peace.

I'd surely consider it a personal favor and a blessing if you would keep her in your prayers over the course of the next week. She could really use some of God's mercy and grace in her life right now.

Tracey, I'm praying. It breaks my heart to think of her circumstances right now. Let us know how this works out. And you're in my prayers too, for opportunity and wisdom in sharing with her.
