I want to send out a Thank You and a hug to all the California firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), hospital staff, and police who are working to contain and put out the fires in California and also who are working to deal with the aftermath of such fires. Without you this horrible situation would be truly unbearable!

The news coverage has been horrific. While the Southeast has been experiencing a drought and water restrictions, California is facing down a desperate situation with grace and purpose.
