Posted - Oct 22 2007 : 1:51:17 PM For the firefighters and families in Southern California. We just heard that the little town we used to live in and the surrounding areas have been completely evacuated due to what they are calling The Witch Fire. My husbands aunt and uncle are still living in that area and were ordered out of their home last night. Even sadder still is that this area is filled with ranches and most people have horses and other livestock that will be turned loose. Hugs, Kathy |

Posted - Oct 22 2007 : 5:51:17 PM Grace, My parents and in-laws are in Canyon Lake and Sun City and an aunts and uncles in University City area of San Diego and Ramona. We have many friends in Ramona and all over the San Diego area. 4 years ago there was a huge fire in this same area and further east to Julian and Cuyamaca, my parents had just sold their home in Cuyamaca and moved luckily as the house they had owned was burned to the ground along with those of all their former neighbors. While living in Ramona we dreaded the fire season but only had one bad one while we were there. I am saying my prayers!!! Kathy |

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies. -Psalm 18:1-3 |
