Just thought I'd post this topic...it would be nice to have some prayers. My son Danny, age 7, just got out of hospital with pneumonia and he is home now but we still have to watch for fever or chest pain so he won't have to go back in. I'm a single mom with NO extended family at all...so this is stressful for me to put it mildly.
I am asking for prayers and some sweet words from my new online farmgirl "sisters".

Linda, it is so good to hear your little Danny is doing much better! Oh My! I remember those days when the kids were sick! You worry till you are sick to! Hang in there dear Mommy! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Linda,
I was saddened to read about Danny's pneumonia; but, I was glad to read that he had a good day yesterday and seems as though he may be on the path to recovery. Will certainly keep you both in prayer...

Thanks for all the prayers and words of comfort. It means so much to me to be a farmgirl. Danny is doing better, he had one day of pain and a little fever so Dr. sent him to get a new Xray to get results asap. The Xray didn't show the bad infection he was looking for...that was good news.
He is not out of the woods yet but he sure looks better now. He was full of spunk yesterday! The old energic chatty boy that I hadn't seen in weeks!

Linda, I hope Danny gets better quickly. I have gone through some crappy hospital stuff myself with my son, and I know what you are going through. I hope you are able to get a little rest, so you are able to care for your son and yourself. I will keep you and your son in my thoughts and prayers. |

My sister was a single mom of two boys, and though we helped when we could, she still felt very alone at times during the nights of fevers. I am praying for you, because I know how hard it is. Thank God your child has you!
