Posted - Oct 04 2007 : 07:54:35 AM Well, I guess all the good vibes in Rabbit Hash pay off, and thank you all for your prayers when I first mentioned it here. We just heard that since his diagnosis with stage 4 head and neck cancer, and mass chemo and radiation treatments (all without insurance coverage), Richard is cancer free and the tumor is GONE, baby GONE. We are all elated, he is a wonderful person and now his even more wonderful wife, Terry and their little 6 year old daughter will have dad around--the new year gives and takes away, but it just goes to show that if we put our hearts and our souls into positive thoughts and energy, there is a good outcome awaiting us in the universe. I think Terry said it best..."when you know that all these people, people you don't even know love you and are hoping for you, how can you leave this earth?"
Hey all, a few of you who have read my posts know that we frequent a little curve in the road called Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, where there are just the greatest folks, barn dances galore and a wonderful little general store that's been around since 1830 or so....well, our friends who run the general store are going through a terrible time.
Terry's husband (who is 40) was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the lymph system, located right now, in his neck. They are trying to regroup themselves and prepare for a fight--he will do radiation and chemo simultaneously, I believe. They are most worried about their little girl, Ruby, who is around 6, I think.
Put Farmgirl hearts and minds together for them, as they go through this. They are both wonderful folks, and have incredible hearts. Jonni
