So I am all for natural things. I believe more in mother nature than man made stuff. I however have been on an antidepressant for quite awhile. I always want to use herbs and have heard how not to combine them. I just wish I could use more things natural or have more information. I even won't try echinacea for fear it would react:( I do take vitamins and eat healthy but I just like more natural ideas. Thanks guys for any info.

Sue,
I would like the names of those books. I am in the same boat as Bridget. I had to start taking med last year for PMS related anxiety. I refused med for a few years until last year I was having trouble funtioning a few days b4 my period. I never had these problems b4, but I hit my 30's and man! my hormones went wonky. The stuff I am taking started out great but seems to be losing it's effect the longer I take it. I would like to study up on the natural methods b4 I go back to the doc.
Thanks.
I feel for all you woman who go through this stuff.

Just do your homework, there is alot of good information out there. I use natural remedies whenever I can, I trust them more, but I always look them up, check to see if I can mix them with the herbs and vitiams I take daily and I always start out with a low dose the first week, and always take them with food. I have several good books if you want the names.

They are talking about using the Lemon Balm for depression...I am going to try it to help me with mine. Mother Nature sure knows her stuff.

There is another chat going on here in the land of Mary Jane and they are talking about using "Lemon Balm" for depression. I have suffered from it for years now. A few drops on a sugar cube or in a teaspoon of honey. I will get you the name of the chat and the gal who told about the Lemon Balm.

I'm not sure about this one - is it something that your doctor would be willing to discuss with you? I know that some MDs are much more willing to work with both "natural" and "traditional" medicines together than others, and maybe he or she is of the "willing" variety?

'Just and idea! I hope you find some good information on this one - things out there can be so confusing sometimes!

XOXO, Libbie
