Posted - Sep 25 2015 : 07:49:26 AM Is this wild plums? I generally don't try unknown berries as I'm afraid of eating the wrong things. I tasted one berry and it did indeed taste like a plum.

Posted - Oct 07 2015 : 11:31:55 AM They're definitely not a blueberry. My husband and I harvest wild Maine blueberries. I did have my mother in law look at them. She did confirm they are wild plums. Here in Maine they only get as big as a choke cherry.

Posted - Sep 29 2015 : 5:13:19 PM our wild plums are usually bigger, size of a quarter or so. Not sure what you have. Maybe ask at your county extension office.
