We use toothpaste, gum and mints with xylitol in them and absolutely has to be fluoride free. I healed a cavity using xylitol and my nephew's teeth were saved by using xylitol (that is according to his dentist!). I've heard so much about Thieves Oil but I wish I knew more about it!

Oh darn, I missed this back when it was needed. My go-to now for things like that is Thieves Oil. It's just a blend of five essential oils, but it works wonderfully, it's practically magic. Glad you're feeling better.

Diane, I also heard that you should put a whole clove on either side of the aching tooth and suck on them to relieve the pain. I hope you're doing better! Hugs - Nini

Also, try chewing on a piece of anise. This herb has anesthetic qualities.

Goodness, I've had some real doozies when it comes to a toothache. When the dentist's office opens, hope he takes you right away. In the meantime have you tried Ibuprofen? I take it for pain and it really helps. Feel better soon!

Blessings~Diane

Oh and if you don't have access to clove or clove essential oils, maybe try some Orajel on the area. You can usually find that in any grocery store or pharmacy.

Oh Diana, I hope you feel better soon! Have you tried putting some clove essential oil on the area? Here's a link that might help. Look under Health Concerns and click toothache.
