I want to learn more about herbs and get a certificate for completing a course. Anyone know of a credible one? I also want one that is not expensive.

I studied with David Hoffmann several years ago. You can find many of his most important articles here: http://www.herbcraft.org/hoffmann.html and of course there are all his wonderful books. I don't know if he is still doing workshops, but it would be well worth your while to hunt them down, or at least contact David to seek his advice about what course of study would be best for you. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I have found that the herbs are much more effective than drugs for my illness. I might as well become educated and have the knowledge it takes to treat myself.

Dr. Christopher's herb school is good, reputable and Susun Weed has distance courses you can take (and she has a payment plan). If you don't need a certificate, Learning Herbs if FANTASTIC for herbal education, it's very inexpensive (8.95/month or 97/year) but you won't get a certificate.

I am enrolled in Vintage Remedies. Doing the Family herbalist course right now and then will continue with the master herbalist. I really like what I have seen so far.
