Are there any herbs that naturally help with the function of the brain.

Maintaining your social circle, exercising and learning something completely new.

Even completing a task in a different way will help create new neural pathways for example: brush your teeth with the other hand or place the less dominant hand or foot into clothing first when getting dressed. Changing things up and getting out of the house for sure!

Chia seeds or hemp seeds. Both are high in omega 3,6 but only hemp seeds have omega 3,6,and 9

Grind them up or buy pre ground and sprinkle on yogurt or ice cream

My doctor said ginko and suduko to start with. Do my own homework and find some other things that will help naturally. I got the special issue of Mother Earth News Guide to Womens Health. It had a lot of descriptions in it as to what each herb will do for you.

God bless,

Patricia, this morning I was working a Soduko puzzle, and on the page it said working the puzzles help the brain. Of course, in a different way.

Hey Patricia how are you. Ginseng is for the brain and Ginseng is used enlighten the mind and increase wisdom.Ginseng is taken in teas, tinctures or capsules. Always make sure the product you use contains real Ginseng. A lot of the drinks found in the grocery stores almost always do not.
Ginkgo biloba is used to retain memory and age related declines in brain function.
Hope this helps. MB
