The one I have is from Herb Mentor and is part of their course on learning herbs:
Have your liquid measuring cup and lavender essential oil handy too.
Next melt 1 ounce of beeswax in a saucepan or double boiler. The double boiler is ideal because it provides a low, gentle heat for
your oil. If you use a saucepan, make sure the heat is really low as not to scorch your oil or wax.
For salve the ratio, you need is 1 ounce (by weight) of beeswax for each cup (8 ounces by volume) of infused oil.
When the beexwax has liquified add your cup of comfrey oil. The beeswax will solidify again in places when you do so. Heat just until
the wax is melted again.
Pour the mixture into your liquid measuring cup. Add 2 drops of lavender essential oil for each 1/4 ounce of lip balm. Stir.
Carefully pour into your salve containers. (Some folks will add the essential oils to their salves at this point, especially if they want to
try out different essential oils or vary the strength.)
Allow your salve to cool and then cap.

How to store your salve:
Store your finished salve in your medicine cabinet for later use. For longer storage you can also place your salve in the refrigerator
