Posted - May 28 2011 : 06:13:45 AM I saw on someone's blog about making a dandelion ticture for cleansing the blood and kidneys and more. I remember most of it but now can't remember where it was I saw it. I went out this morning and pulled up enough to fill a quart jar. I chopped them up real good. She said to use the roots and leaves and stems. She put hers in the blender after adding the vodka. I just chopped real fine. So I have a quart of dandelion tincture under the counter for a month. I can't wait to try it.
The thing I don't remember seeing is how much to take after straining it? It seems like maybe a tablespoon a few times a day? I don't know. So if anyone has done this, please let me know the amount to take every day. Thanks.
Kris

Posted - May 28 2011 : 07:22:02 AM I've not used dandelion tincture, but with most tinctures it is a few drops under the tongue usually 15-20. Susan Weed has on her site, using 5-10 drops of dandelion before meals for indigestion. http://www.susunweed.com/herbal_ezine/May04/healingwise.htm
