I have been reading a great book,"Homegrown Herbs: A Complete Guide to Growing, Using, and Enjoying More than 100 Herbs" by Tammi Hartung. What a great reference book this is! From selecting and designing an herb garden to proper soil, propagation methods, maintenance, pest and disease control, harvesting, making tinctures, cooking with... the list of what this bookcovers goes on. Very well written, very concise. Great charts that help with the how, where and when of over 100 herbs. I really recommend this book to anyone interested in gathering more information on herbal gardening.
