Posted - Jan 20 2011 : 1:24:50 PM I make a homemade ginger syrup to deal with nausea. I thought some of you ladies might like the recipe so here it is:
Fresh Ginger Sugar
Thinly slice fresh ginger. Put one layer in bottom of quart jar. Sprinkle with enough sugar to coat ginger. Alternate layers of ginger and sugar until all the ginger is used. Syrup will appear in 24 hours. Strain and refrigerated syrup. Good for 3 weeks.

Posted - Jan 22 2011 : 12:41:26 AM I think this recipe is a keeper! Definitley an idea for me, I'm stockpiling all sorts of ideas and things for when I finally convince my husband that we can have a baby and still have lives... Now, we'll just have to see if my picky 10 year old stepdaughter will use it... ;)
