Thanks for the idea Deborah - I hate the smell of Citronella
I could definitely live with that combo

Deborah,

Thanks for sharing! No pesticides and sounds like it wouldn't be stinky either.

I pinned dryer sheets under the hoop of my civil war gown, it helps alot, a few are still brave but alot are detoured. Trust me, that thing is a heat tent!

I am with Deborah on this one, Skin So Soft from avon has been the only thing that has helped me. I can go without it and the bugs seem to attack me as soon as I go outside. It can be greasy but I put some on a cotton ball and lightly rub it on me. Smell is great also.

Deborah, this sounds awesome! How do you make it? Mosquitos are horrible here right now!

I like to add a drop or two of clove essential oil to that spritz. Similar topic, a spritz of distilled water and rose geranium essential oil repels ticks which is a huge problem in my area. The chickens aren't keeping up with the population of them!

I am going to try that Deborah. The mosquitoes are coming out in swarms over here. After 7 PM, I have to spray myself to put the dog out, or they will bite me all over. LOL.
