Posted - Apr 28 2010 : 07:31:52 AM Kayla, I didn't actually see the recipe for the taco seasoning. And for the tortillas either. Could you let me know where it is? And BTW, your haircut looks really good. And I get called my hubby's daughter alot. He's 10 years older.

Posted - Apr 28 2010 : 07:27:48 AM Ok, I just picked the plantain yesterday and now cut it up and put it in a jar with the ACV. I will put it in a cabinet with a note to help me remember. And in 2 weeks it's ready to use? I am making this for my 2 daughters. They are really having a rough time with the slin right now. I personally think it's the crappy food they eat. But the youngest is getting way better at it. She actually plowed up their front yard for gardens! I am so proud of them. So they will be eating really good soon. And they are starting to buy organic and not eat out as much. So I hope this will help them. The other DD has the back zits. It's horrible. And they are 28 and 30. You'd think that would be gone by now.
So thanks so much for sharing this tincture with us. Now I am going to print all your good recipes!

Posted - Apr 24 2010 : 4:53:11 PM The one we made back in November, I've just kept it on a shelf in the bathroom...a convenient place for me, for when I wash my face and such. A cool dark place would be best. It doesn't go bad, since it's in the vinegar.

I have one question for you. . . once you have filtered the tincture and are ready to use.. where do you store it? In the fridge? dark cabinet?
Thanks again for the help!!

Posted - Apr 24 2010 : 2:00:34 PM Thanks...I think he's cute, but I'm a bit biased, I suppose! He rolled in cow manure today, though...I need to give him a bath.

Posted - Apr 24 2010 : 12:27:25 PM Kayla We have a ton of plantain here too. I have mixed it with comfrey for a salve, but I like the idea of more of an astringent application. I'll pull some today & remember to shake shake shake the plantain! & oh yeah..kiss that sweet Regal for me. He is adorable |
