Posted - Apr 16 2010 : 07:45:38 AM I'm suffering with some cracked heels and I could use suggestions for topical herbs. Right now, I'm using bag balm to help but I thought maybe soaking my feet with herbs would help as well. Any suggestions for easily acquired herbs?

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 08:36:39 AM You can soak your feet in the warm herbal tea. It is very healing and feels good.
I use comfrey salve for all kinds of skin issues. It's different than using regular creams and lotions because it actually has the healing properties in it.

Posted - Apr 17 2010 : 7:43:39 PM My heels are horribly cracked. I can't wear sandals or flip flops in public. I use all kinds of things to file them down. It's so embarrasing to me. I would love to have nice looking feet so I can wear decent shoes in summer.
So what do you do with the herbs? Soak with them? And it gets rid of the cracks? I use thick creams and lotions and nothing seems to help. And it doesn't help that I wear boots to do chores. I think it makes it worse.

Posted - Apr 16 2010 : 11:10:46 AM Comfrey or Plantain. You probably have lots of plantain growing your yard or the neighbors. I have tons of comfrey and you are welcome to as much as you want!
Make a strong tea and soak your feet. Feels SO good.
