Until I grew it this year I had no idea how lovely fresh chamomile smells. I have been saving the flowers for my son's tea. The more I pick the more we get. The rabbits love the flowers and fronds. I know it settles the tummy, but just love the smell.

I know, I love the smell as well. Love the tea.

By the way, growing up I was in Hampton and in my single days of college and working I was in Mason City and then Clear Lake when I was married to my ex-husband. My hubbies kids live in Cedar Rapids, so we make trips down to see them and cut over on Hwy 18 off of I-35 and go right past Nora Springs. Also have a late aunt and uncle who are buried down there.

Small world.
